Ms Cecilia Baridon Gonnet and Ms Carolina Sanjurjo Olavarría (Coordinator and Secretary of English Section at Secondary) were invited to the 2023 Dickens-Cambridge Heads’ Forum which was held at the British Ambassador’s Residence on Friday 9th June. 

The meeting took place in the morning and started by having breakfast with the presence of Cambridge’s representatives, English coordinators from different institutions, and Ms Sandy Domaingue, British Consul to Uruguay.

Ms Lucila Marquez, Senior Manager for Latin America and Ms Juliet Wilson, Director of Assessment and Customer Support gave talks with updates and news from Cambridge International.

Ms Cecilia Baridon said that the meeting was an excellent opportunity to be in contact with colleagues and experts in the field of education and international exams. She added that it is pleasing to confirm that Crandon’s perspective of work has so many meeting points with the suggestions received from Cambridge University in relation to second language learning. «It is reassuring to know that we are on the right track», concluded the Coordinator of Secondary English Section.
