Instituto Crandon was honored at the Cambridge Preparation Centre Partnership Programme 2026 for its excellence in English language education. The event, held on Tuesday 9 June at the Instituto Cultural Anglo-Uruguayo, recognized the institution for their outstanding contribution to international certification.

As part of the Cambridge Preparation Centre Partnership Programme 2026, a number of preparation centres across Uruguay have been nominated for special recognition awards celebrating their commitment, innovation, and contribution to English language learning and international certification.

The event brought together Cambridge Preparation Centres from both Montevideo and different regions across the country. Instituto Crandon and Escuela y Liceo Crandon Salto were present there.

In addition to the certificate presentation ceremony, attendees participated in a panel discussion where experts reflected on the importance and impact of international examinations in students’ academic and personal development. A special highlight was the participation of Pablo Toledo, representative of Cambridge International.

Instituto Crandon received the Cambridge recognition certificate awarded to preparation centres with more than 100 entries and also received awards recognising its outstanding commitment and achievements in the field of English language education and international certification.

The awards received (*) reflect not only the significant number of candidates presented by our institution each year, but also the excellent results achieved by our students. In particular, the distinctions obtained in the Key for Schools and Proficiency examinations stand out as evidence of this ongoing commitment to excellence.

These recognitions reaffirm the high standards of quality that have characterized our work for many years and encourage us to continue promoting academic achievement and international certification opportunities for our students.
