On Tuesday 1st,  Thursday 3rd  and Friday 4th October the sixth grade groups of Educación Básica Integrada (EBI, Primary) took part in a tourist itinerary in English which took them through various neighbourhoods of Montevideo. 

In previous classes, the English teachers focused on describing the city and its main tourist attractions. This approach aimed to reinforce vocabulary and expressions related to the area, explore various architectural styles, and review prior knowledge.

Milto de Castro Colombo (former teacher at Crandon and an experienced tourist guide) was in charge of leading the tours. The aim of the educational outing was to use English for communicative purposes, as well as to get to know the city and enjoy some time among classmates.
